Hudson swimmers and divers roll past Chardon and Amherst Steele

The Hudson swimming and diving teams improved to 4-0 on the season after posting two victories apiece Dec. 7 at the About SPIRE Institute in Geneva.

The boys earned a commanding 98-9 win over Chardon and a 70-52 victory over Amherst Steele. The girls scored a convincing 83-35 win over Chardon and a 68-54 victory over Amherst Steele.

The following Explorers and Lady Explorers won their events:

Boys

• 200-yard medley relay: Tanner Nelson, Adam Ambroziak, Keegan Goeke and Daniel Nguyen, first, 1 minute, 48.06 seconds

• 200 individual medley: Will Wiley, 2:14.49

• 50 freestyle: Daniel Nguyen, 23.92

• 100 butterfly: Wiley, 59.71

• 500 freestyle: Alex Faiman, 5:21.2

• 200 freestyle relay: Connor Coburn, Adam Ambroziak, Wiley and Nguyen, 1:39.07

• 100 backstroke: Goeke, 59.16

• 100 breaststroke: Ambroziak, 1:08.71

Girls

• 200 medley relay: Ellie Brownlow, Rachel Johnson, Leah Ambroziak and Brittan Ham, 2:00.11

• 50 freestyle: Brittan Ham, 26.68

• 100 backstroke: Megan Girvin, 1:07.71

• 100 breaststroke: Rachel Johnson, 1:14.55
