The Hudson football team improved to 6-0 overall with a 20-7 victory over Northeast Ohio Conference rival Stow-Munroe Falls Oct. 4 at Bulldog Stadium.
After a scoreless first half, the Explorers got on the board when Ben Hart scored on a 52-yard run with a minute left in the third quarter. Pierce Royster added the first of his two point after tries.
Hudson took a 14-0 lead with 10:32 remaining in the game when Dean Miller had a 1-yard touchdown run.
The Explorers put it away with 5:34 left when Mitch Guadagni completed a 26-yard TD pass to Reid Robinson. The run failed on the 2-point conversion, but Hudson had a convincing 20-0 lead.
The Bulldogs (5-1) finally got on the board when Andrew Groves scored on a 5-yard fumble return with 1:53 remaining.
