The Hudson boys soccer team improved to 7-4-1 overall and 2-1 in the Northeast Ohio Conference Valley Division after posting a 3-0 victory over Strongsville Sept. 24 on the road.
Trevor Colazzo drew a foul in the penalty box and Jack Sullivan converted the penalty kick. In the second half, Colazzo made it 2-0. Dan Brady had the assist.
The Explorers got their final goal when Colazzo played a through ball to Ryan Mahan. After beating two defenders, Mahan finished in the bottom corner.
Hudson goalkeeper Brendan O'Neil made five saves in the nets. The Explorers had an 8-6 advantage in shots on goal. The Mustangs had a 4-2 edge in corner kicks.
