The Western Reserve Academy girls cross country team finished seventh with 225 points in the 15-team Division III race of the Galion Cross Country Festival Sept. 14 at Amann's Reservoir Park.
Liberty Center won the competition with a score of 25 points and Mount Gilead (47) and Fredericktown (123) finished second and third, respectively.
Liberty Center's Brittany Anderson placed first out of 102 runners with a time of 18 minutes, 33.2 seconds.
Elizabeth Downing led the Lady Pioneers with a 23rd-place time of 21:18.7.
Rounding out the top five for Reserve were Katherine Zandee (38th, 22:29.5), Nina Teklenburg (47th, 22:40.6), Ji Anne Kang (57th, 23:18.6) and Anna Ballard (60th, 23:27.3).
