The Hudson football team improved to 2-0 with a 20-7 victory over Uniontown Lake Sept. 6 at Hudson Memorial Stadium.
The Explorers had a 20-0 lead at halftime.
Ben Hart got Hudson on the board with 3 minutes, 38 seconds remaining in the first quarter with a two-yard touchdown run. Pierce Royster added the first of his two point after tries.
The Explorers took a 14-0 lead with 9:16 left in the half when quarterback Mitch Guadagni completed a 12-yard TD pass to Reid Robinson.
Hudson made its final trip to the end zone when Guadagni completed a 32-yard pass to Colton Whited. The PAT was blocked.
The Blue Streaks got their only points when Anthony Cistone scored on a 22-yard run late in the fourth quarter. Jared Allison added the extra point.
Guadagni completed 13 of 21 passes for 141 yards. He also ran for 99 yards on 10 carries. Whited caught five passes for 89 yards.
