The Hudson girls golf team continued its stellar play.
The Lady Explorers posted a 166-179 victory over Strongsville.
The match took place Aug. 28 at Ellsworth Meadows Golf Course.
With the win, Hudson improved to 3-1 in the Northeast Ohio Conference Valley Division.
Nicole Goodson led the Lady Explorers with a career-best tying 38 to earn medalist honors.
Julia Goodson was next with a 41 and Moe Madar (43) and Meredith Spitz (44) also contributed to the team score.
"The girls played very well in very sloppy conditions," Hudson head coach Doug Snelling said. "We shot our lowest nine-hole match score in three years."
The Lady Explorers posted a 169-186 victory over Valley Division rival North Royalton Aug. 27 at Briarwood Golf Course in Broadview Heights.
Julia Goodson led the way with a 40 to earn medalist honors.
Nicole Goodson was next with a 41. Also contributing were Victoria Bartos (43) and Madar (45).
"We had a solid team performance," Snelling said. "The girls shot a very good score the first time they have played North Royalton's new course. It is great to see all of the team members score so closely."
Hudson is scheduled to host a quad with Solon, Walsh Jesuit and Shaker Heights Hathaway Brown Sept. 3 at Lake Forest Country Club.
The Lady Explorers are set to visit Northeast Ohio Conference rival Brunswick at Brunswick Hills Golf Course Sept. 4. Both matches are scheduled to begin at 3:30 p.m.
