Trio helps boys track and field team past Trinity, Benedictine

The Walsh Jesuit boys track and field team earned victories over Trinity and Cleveland Benedictine April 23 in Garfield Heights.

Walsh finished with 118.5 points and Trinity and Benedictine scored 36.5 and 19 points, respectively.

Hudson resident Alex Csorba won the 300-meter hurdles with a time of 42.4 seconds and also was part of the 800 relay team (1:36.9). Csorba added a second in the long jump (18 feet, 11.5 inches).

Cole Francetic of Hudson won the pole vault (13 feet) and Hudson resident Connor Murphy places third (2:08.5).

Feltner leads Warriors

baseball club past Padua

The Walsh Jesuit baseball team earned a 6-0 win over Padua Franciscan April 23 in Parma.

Hudson resident Ryan Feltner got the victory on the mound to improve to 3-2.

Host Walsh posted a 7-3 victory over Parma Padua Franciscan April 22. Feltner had two doubles for the Warriors.

Boys lacrosse club falls

The Walsh boys lacrosse team lost a 13-6 decision to Solon April 23 on the road.

Hudson resident Mitch Puckett had three goals, four ground balls and one assist. Henry Puckett of Hudson had one goal and three ground balls.
