Hudson girls basketball team falls to Mentor

The Hudson girls basketball team recently saw its 12-game winning streak come to an end.

Unfortunately for the Lady Explorers, they've now lost three in a row.

Hudson concluded the regular season with a 64-52 loss to Mentor Feb. 13 on the road.

With the loss, the Lady Explorers fell to 17-5 overall and 6-4 in the Northeast Ohio Conference Valley Division. Hudson finished third behind Twinsburg and Solon in the Valley Division.

Allison Zullo led the Lady Explorers with 15 points and Brynne Drohan added 10 for Hudson.

Lauren Stefancin led the Lady Cardinals (14-8) with a game-high 17 points and Kayla Gabor added 16 points. Mentor outscored the Lady Explorers 15-6 in the first quarter and 15-9 in the third period.
