The host Hudson girls basketball team won its 10th consecutive game after posting a 48-38 victory over Northeast Ohio Conference Valley Division rival Stow-Munroe Falls Jan. 26 at Ray "Buck" Hyser Gymnasium.
With the win, the Lady Explorers improved to 15-2 overall and 5-1 in the Valley Division. The Lady Bulldogs dropped to 12-5 overall and 2-4 in the division.
Stow opened the game with a 9-0 run and led 15-6 after the first eight minutes.
Hudson did not take the lead until Jackie Ulmer scored the final basket of the third quarter. The Lady Explorers led 30-29 heading into the final period.
Hudson opened the final quarter with an 8-2 run and never looked back.
Despite limited playing time in the first half after picking up three fouls, Hannah Boesinger led the Lady Explorers with 13 points and 14 rebounds. Ulmer and Kelly Gough added 10 points apiece.
Sam Shaver led Stow with 12 points and Danielle Tiller added eight points and 11 rebounds for the Lady Bulldogs. Madi Baer had a game-high 15 rebounds for Stow.
