X-Treme Select Soccer Club seeks players

X-Treme Select Soccer Club is back after a three-year layoff and is shaping new teams for the coming weeks, months and years.

Each player will be provided with at least two training sessions per week and at least one game.

TX-Treme Select Soccer Clubs encourages all youth soccer players ages 6 to 18 in the area to attend open training sessions Tuesday evenings at 925 Grant Street from 6 to 7:30 p.m. for ages 6 to 14 and from 7:30-9 p.m. for ages 15 and older for the remaining winter months.

WRA girls hoops team falls to Trinity

The host Western Reserve Academy girls basketball team lost a lopsided 84-41 decision to Beachwood Jan. 14.

The Lady Pioneers were scheduled to play in the Culver Invitational (Ind.) Jan. 18 and 19. Results of those games were not available at press time.

They are set to entertain Gates Mills Hawken Jan. 22 at 6:30 p.m.
