Hudson ranked 11th
The Hudson girls basketball team, which has won seven straight games and was 12-2 on the season as of press time, was ranked 11th in the Division I state poll with 17 points.
Twinsburg, the defending two-time Division I state champion, was ranked first with 197points.
The Lady Explorers were scheduled to host Northeast Ohio Conference Valley Division rival Medina Jan. 19. Results were not available at press time. They are set to play Rocky River Magnificat Jan. 21 at Lakewod St. Edward High School. Game time is scheduled for 6 p.m.
WRA falls to Trinity
The host Western Reserve Academy boys basketball team lost a 53-35 decision to Garfield Heights Trinity Jan. 15.
The Pioneers were scheduled to entertain Akron Archbishop Hoban Jan. 19. Results were not available at press time. They are set to play at the Covelli Center in Youngstown against Ursuline at the Lariccia's See Them Rise High School Basketball Showcase Jan. 20. Game time is scheduled for 7 p.m.
Reserve is set to host Chardon Notre Dame Cathedral Latin Jan. 22 at 7:30 p.m.
