The Hudson boys bowling team lost a 2,242-2,201 decision to Northeast Ohio Conference rival Cuyahoga Falls Dec. 11 at Sto-Kent Family Entertainment.
Philip Rust led the Explorers with a high game of 236. He also rolled a 188. Donny Campbell was next with scores of 189 and 195, respectively, and Mike Rybak bowled games of 147 and 160.
The girls lost a 1,969-1,527 decision to Falls. Angela Piazza led the way with games of 133-196 and Elaina Arsham (126-138) was next.
The junior varsity boys lost a 1,768-1,453 decision. Derek Moran (152-126) led Hudson.
The Hudson boys lost a 2,487-2,185 decision to NOC foe Garfield Heights Dec. 11 at the Cloverleaf Bowling Center in Independence.
Rust (156-212) led the way for Hudson. Also faring well for Hudson were Bobby Shanks (145-201) and Logan Booth (154-191).
The JV boys lost a 1,832-,1620 decision. Booth led Hudson with scores of 217 and 164.
The Hudson boys lost a 2,600-2,196 decision to NOC rival Solon at Roseland Lanes in Oakwood Village.
Rust (198-176), Campbell (177-180) and Rybak (158-183) led the way.
The girls lost a 1,863-1,540 decision to Solon. Piazza paced Hudson with scores of 197 and 179. The JV boys lost a 1,922-1,586 decision.
On Dec. 4, the Hudson boys lost a 2,494-2,198 decision to Garfield Heights at Sto-Kent Family Entertainment. Campbell (223-212) and Rybak (189-186) led Hudson. The JV boys lost a 1,832-1,620 decision. Booth (217-164) had the high scores for Hudson.
All three teams are scheduled to visit NOC foe Brunswick Dec. 14. Results were not available at press time.
They are set to entertain NOC rivals Solon Dec. 17 and Twinsburg Dec. 19. Both matches are scheduled to begin at 4:15 p.m.
