Hudson boys basketball team falls; ice hockey squad wins

The visiting Hudson boys basketball team fell to 2-2 overall and 0-1 in the Northeast Ohio Conference River Division after losing a 75-65 decision to Brush Dec. 14 in Lyndhurst.

The Explorers outscored the Arcs 25-6 in the fourth quarter. Brandon Dawson led Brush with 17 points. Zack Brandy had a team-leading 17 points for Hudson.

Meanwhile, the Hudson ice hockey team improved to 6-3 with a commanding 8-1 victory over Kent Roosevelt Dec. 14 at Kent State University.

Bo Lori and John Calabro each had three goals and Brady Edwards and Mike Gaffney each scored once.
