The Western Reserve Academy boys swimming and diving team picked up its first win of the season Dec. 5.
The host Pioneers earned a convincing 113-67 victory over Akron Archbishop Hoban. The Reserve girls lost a 97-86 decision.
The following WRA swimmers and divers placed in the top three and the following Reserve relay teams won:
Boys
• 200-yard medley relay: Kevin Ly, Jonathan Depew, John Ainikkal and Eric Lugg, first, 1 minute, 49.84 seconds
• 200 freestyle: Lugg, second, 2:08.81
