Former Hudson golfer
signs at Augusta State
Jackson Stroup recently signed a national letter of intent to continue his academic and golfing careers at Augusta State University (Ga.).
Stroup, a former member of the Hudson Explorers boys golf team, transferred to Naples, Fla., last fall.
Stroup finished his high school career playing on the Florida High School Athletic Association Division 1A championship runner-up team.
As an individual, he finished second in the District 18 championship and won the Region 6 championship leading to the state finals.

Lacrosse skills clinics offered next month
The Hudson Youth Lacrosse Association is offering skills clinics to youth boys and girls Sunday evenings from December to March.
The 90-minute clinics are set to take place at The Edge in Twinsburg.
The clinics are expected to feature coaching by college, current and former Hudson High School players and HYLAX coaches.
The clinics will feature drills and scrimmaging designed to maximize the opportunity to handle the ball.
The clinics also include sessions for girls, grades three to nine and boys grades fur to eight.

Globetrotters coming
to Cleveland
The Harlem Globetrotters are scheduled to visit Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland Dec. 27 at 7 p.m.
