Resident to play
volleyball in college
Hudson resident KC Locke, a senior at Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy, signed a letter of intent Nov. 14 to continue her academic and volleyball careers at Palm Beach Atlantic University in West Palm Beach, Fla.
Locke was a four-year starter for the Lady Royals. She recently earned first-team all-district and All-Principals Athletic Conference honors.
Locke is the daughter of Colleen and Kevin Locke.
Cleveland to host
NCAA regional games
The Greater Cleveland Sports Commission and the Mid-American Conference have been selected to host the 2015 National Collegiate Athletic Association Division I Men’s Basketball Midwest Regional. Cleveland State University will serve as the event’s co-host. The event is scheduled for March 26 and 28 at Quicken Loans Arena.
The event will feature a doubleheader March 26 and the Regional Championship game March 28. The cities of Los Angeles, Houston and Syracuse, N.Y., also are scheduled to host 2015 regionals.
