Hudson Explorers Aquatic Team fares well at Riviera Swim Team Fall Invitational

The Hudson Explorers Aquatic Team participated in the Riviera Swim Team Fall Invitational, which concluded Oct. 14 at Indiana University Purdue University at Indianapolis Natatorium. 
“HEAT made its mark in Indy this year with a very successful meet,” head age group coach Katherine Kleinert said. “We traveled with over 60 swimmers to one of the top facilities for competitive swimming in the nation.
“Even though it was an early-season meet, our swimmers proved they went to race and several posted personal-best times. We are excited to continue the tradition of fast swimming and great team spirit as the season goes on.”
In the boys age 11-and-12 200-yard freestyle relay, Caleb Tuckerman, Matthew Constable, Ryan Collins and Dylan Ruscin placed third with a time of 2 minutes, 8.8 seconds.
This relay team also finished second in the boys 11-12 200 medley relay with a time of 2:28.38.
In the girls 10-and-younger 200 medley relay, Allison Weinzierl, Paige McCormick, Megan Collins and Meredith Kozar placed third with time of 2:39.92.
