Rudy and Shirley (Thomas) Coblentz of Boston Heights will celebrate God's blessing of their 50 years of marriage Nov. 10 at the Brushwood pavilion in the Richfield Metroparks. They were married on Oct. 27, 1962. Mr. and Mrs. Coblentz have three children: Karla (Bill) Gingerich of Bellefontaine; Randy (Diane) of Hartville; and Christopher (Sue) of Macedonia. The couple has six grandchildren: Ayla and Denver Coblentz; Zachary and Nicholas Gingerich; and Jacob and Luke Coblentz. They lived for many years in Northfield Center and now reside in Boston Heights. The retirement years have given them time to enjoy working for their church, raising farm animals, traveling, gardening and their grandchildren.
