Franci Burzminski and Andrew Johnson were united in marriage May 12, 2012, at the United Methodist Church of Streetsboro, with the Rev. Byron George officiating. The bride is the daughter of Michael and Nancy Burzminski of Hudson. The bridegroom is the son of Fred and Karen Johnson of Columbus. Escorted by her parents, the bride wore a gown from the Demetrios Platinum Collection, fashioned from crystal while organza, soft flowing rushed bodice with a sweetheart neckline, a-line skirt with an asymmetrical drop from the waistline which cascaded down from an organza flora motif with a vertical ruffled effect that sweeps back to a tea chapel length train. She carried white hydrangeas, white and varied shades of pink roses, secured with pearl embellishments from her mother's wedding gown. The maid of honor was Kelly Light of Chicago, the bride's friend. The bridegroom's niece, Kendall Johnson of Columbus, was the flower girl. Bridesmaids were the bride's friends, Danielle Tulodzieski of Bowling Green, Suzanne McCandish of Cincinnati, Courtney Owen and Ashley Campbell of Nashville, Tenn., and Alicia Greenwood of Alexandria, Va; the bridegroom's friend, Claire McVicker of Sacramento, Calif.; and the bride's sister-in-law, Lindsay Burzminski of Evanston, Ill. The best man was the bridegroom's friend, Nick Lovric of Van, Canada. The ring bearer was the bridegroom's nephew, Colin Johnson of Columbus. Groomsmen were his brothers, Christopher Johnson of Columbus, Michael Johnson of Akron, Fredrick Johnson of Cleveland and Patrick Johnson of Columbus; the bride's brother, Christopher Burzminski of Evanston, Ill.l and friends, Matthew Knepp of Chicago and Joey Kruty of Cleveland. Readers were Mary Jo Reminder, the bridegroom's aunt from Brunswick, and Maria Paparone, friend of the bride from Twinsburg. Program attendants were the bride's friends, Lauren Romansky from Cincinnati and Lauren Lipaj from Columbus. The bride is a 2004 graduate of Hudson High School and a 2008 graduate of Ohio University. She is employed with Nordstrom in Schaumburg, Ill. The bridegroom is a 2002 graduate of Hudson High School and a 2008 graduate of Ohio University. He is employed with the Hyatt Regency at O'Hare at Rosemont, Ill. After a reception at the Bertram Inn and Conference Center in Aurora, the newlyweds honeymooned in the Dominican Republic. They are making their home in Chicagoland, Ill.
