SAT, ACT practice tests set

A free SAT Practice Test for high school students will be offered at the Hudson Library and Historical Society Sept. 10 at 1 p.m.. The Princeton Review will administer the timed SAT test (minus the writing portion). It will last approximately 3 and a half hours.

Hudson Board of Education meeting changed to July 20

The Hudson City School District Board of Education has changed the date of its July 24 meeting. The meeting will be held on Thursday, July 20 at 7 p.m. at the Hudson High School Media Center, 2500 Hudson-Aurora Road.

Hudson resident makes the Dean's List at Rhodes College

Memphis, Tenn.--Hudson, Ohio resident Julia D. Schiciano was named to the Rhodes College Dean's List for the 2017 spring semester. To qualify for the dean's list, a student must be enrolled in at least 16 credit hours of academic work and must achieve a semester grade point average of 3.

Hudson student on winning team for The University of Akron in national case competition

Jacob Roucchio-Cole of Hudson, Ohio teamed up with three other business students from The University of Akron to win first place in the 2017 Community Bank Case Study Competition, held by the Conference of State Bank Supervisors (CSBS) in Washington, D.C.

Hudson student to study in China on gov't scholarship

Holly Pappano, a high school student in Hudson, has been awarded a National Security Language Initiative for Youth (NSLI-Y) scholarship for 2017-18 by the U.S. State Department's Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs.Holly will study Chinese in China for the summer.
