Summit County Clerk of Courts Sandra Kurt announced today that beginning Monday April 3, 2017, the Clerk’s office will accept electronic filing of court documents for cases in the Ninth District Court of Appeals originating in Summit County.
The E-Filing system will allow attorneys and pro-se litigants to file the vast majority of pleadings and other documents from any place that they can access the internet and at any time of day.
“Many of our customers are familiar with our system from using it in the Court of Common Pleas,” said Summit County Clerk of Courts Sandra Kurt. “Now all divisions under our purview will offer the security and convenience of filing when it best fits our customers’ schedules.”
