Letter: More showing support Hudson school PIF renewal levy

Published: April 19, 2017 12:00 AM

We are Hudson residents for more than 12 years, with three children who are fortunate to attend Hudson Schools.

Over the years, our children have participated in band and orchestra, P.E. swim classes, middle school choir, recreational Basketball and Lacrosse, and multiple indoor and outdoor sports throughout middle school and high school.

We have attended concerts and entrepreneur fairs, plays and poetry readings, School Board Meetings and PTO Events all at our district facilities.

We have spent more time on fields and in gyms than we have at our home many weekends.

We ask for all Hudson residents to get out and vote May 2 for the continuation of the PIF to support Hudson Schools with no tax increase.

If more convenient, please vote early in Akron at the Summit County Board of Elections, 500 Grant St., Monday Friday, 8 a.m. 5 p.m.

If we don't choose it, we lose it!

And we don't want that! Maintaining strong schools is key to keeping Hudson as one of the most desirable communities in Ohio, if not the U.S.

We appreciate your help in continuing to make our Hudson Schools a priority for our children and our community.

Becky and Andy Hinkle, Hudson
