On May 2, all citizens in the Hudson City School District will have the opportunity to vote for the renewal of the PIF Levy for no new taxes.
The renewal of this levy is important to maintain our buildings and grounds, purchase the necessary technology, and other capital expenditures. By law, it cannot be used for benefits or salaries. Because I will be out of town on May 2, I am requesting an absentee ballot because the passage of the PIF levy is vital for our schools. It is the only issue on the ballot, but an important issue. If you are unable to vote on May 2, I encourage you to go to the Summit County Election website and request an absentee ballot http://www.summitcountyboe.com/Absentee.aspx
The PIF Levy is necessary for the safety and protection of our children with no new taxes. Please join me in voting "Yes" on May 2 or with an absentee ballot.
