Letter: Yearly graffiti 'seniors' sign brings smile to resident's face

Published:

OMG! I have lived in Hudson 35 years, and every spring, I smile when I see the new sign for that year's "Seniors." What a warm and fuzzy feeling I get to know that sign is connected with several hundred students that have made it! I feel so proud for each and every one of them! I have been looking forward to the time that the "Seniors 2015" and the "Seniors 2018" signs will include my two granddaughters that have grown up in Hudson and certainly represent the city and the schools very well. Don't you dare deny me that happiness!

After all, is it any different than signs advertising "Kepner's Tavern," "Lager and Vine," etc? At least, with the "seniors" sign, it is a reminder that our town is in good hands for the future, and every Hudson resident should be as proud as if every student were their very own! Come on, where's your spirit? You should get that "warm and fuzzy" feeling every time you see the " Seniors 2014" sign on Route 303!
