Note Of Thanks: Case-Barlow Farm Doll House Exhibition Committee thanks community for support

Published:

On behalf of

the Case-Barlow Farm Doll House Exhibition Committee, we would like to express our deepest gratitude for the excellent support shown by Hudson and the surrounding communities.

Thank you to all dollhouse owners, volunteers and attendees of our annual fundraiser. Each year we have been able to display different doll houses and miniatures that are in private collections and have never been seen in public prior to our event. Our Preview Party, held the Sunday before the exhibit opens to the public, gives attendees an opportunity to be the first to view the houses, toy trains by Jack Belby, artwork by local artist Hilary Sheeter and sample wonderful appetizers and desserts. Thank you to all that attended our "kick-off" party.

This year we have designated our proceeds be used for restoration on the 1890s bank barn. We feel this is a fitting cause since the farm will be celebrating its bicentennial this year with several events planned to commemorate 200 years since the Case family arrived in Hudson. Thanks again to all that supported this important fundraising event. 2013 Doll House Exhibit Committee: Pat Belby, Barbara Bos, Diane Herendeen, Linda Matty, Connie Price, Karen Smith, Nancy Waite and Barb Warner.

Connie Price, Hudson
