Hudson Community

Service Association (HCSA) mourns the passing of Mary Lou Morse on Thursday, Feb. 14, 2013.

Our association is deeply indebted to Mary Lou for her vision and long-term service to residents of the city of Hudson and our organization. She was instrumental in beginning many of the programs HCSA offers today. One example: she lit the first tree on the Green for the initial Holiday Lighting event. While Mary Lou started multiple community projects, one in particular, the HCSA Helping Hands Project, endeared her to anyone who was in need and lived in the Hudson School District. Mary Lou established a network of individuals, organizations, and businesses that donated time, money, and services to address the needs of her clients.

HCSA will continue Mary Lou's work through food distributions on the fourth Saturday of every month from the HCSA Food Pantry located at Rejoice Lutheran Church. Individuals who need additional services can contact the HCSA Helping Hands Project Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 330-671-9457.

Joyce Lee,

President, HCSA
