Constance Ann (Edwards) Beh

Constance Ann (Edwards) Beh of Hudson, OH, devoted daughter, sister, wife, mother and friend to all died unexpectedly at Akron General Hospital on Sunday, June 11, 2017, after a brief battle with leukemia (AML). Connie was 74 years of age.

Connie Edwards was born October 17, 1942, to Thomas and Virginia (Eganhouse) Edwards in Davenport, IA. Connie graduated from Assumption High School in 1960 and then earned her nursing degree from Mercy Hospital School of Nursing in Davenport, IA. She married John Beh on August 31, 1963. She worked as a registered nurse until the birth of the first of her five children, returning to the profession briefly after raising them. Her life was selfless in her dedication to her family. Helping her children and grandchildren thrive brought her the most joy. Connie was the supportive and loving wife to John and she cherished her many friendships made through the years. She enjoyed traveling and being an active member of the Hudson and St. Mary's Catholic Church communities. Connie enjoyed playing golf, Mahjong, bridge, tennis and contributing to the philanthropic efforts of P.E.O. and St. Mary's L.A.M. group.

Connie is survived by her husband of 53 years, John, sister and brother-in-law Nancy and Ed Holland, brother Tom Edwards, daughters and sons in-law Ann and John Powers and Becky and Joe Niehaus, son and daughter-in-law Michael and Maureen Beh, sons Doug Beh and Tom Beh as well as 12 grandchildren each of whom brought her so much joy in life. She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Virginia.

Visitation will be held Thursday, June 15, 2017 from 3 pm to 7 pm, at Johnson Romito Funeral Home, 19 E. Main St., (on the square) Hudson, OH 44236 (330) 650-4181. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, June 16, 2017 at 10:30 am at St. Mary Catholic Church, 340 N. Main St., Hudson, OH 44236 (EVERYONE PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH). Following mass, Connie will be laid to rest at Markillie Cemetery in Hudson.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are suggested to Catholic Charities Diocese of Cleveland or The American Cancer Society.
