Minnie A. Wagner (Merino), from Hudson, Ohio, passed away peacefully March 7, 2017 surrounded by her loving family. Minnie was born in the Baldwin-Buss-Merino house on the Green in Hudson on July 20, 1919. Minnie owned and operated the Reserve Inn Hudson for 54 years with her husband, Leo, and son, Dennis. She touched the lives of so many. Although we will miss her dearly, in so many ways we will remember her fierce independence, her sense of style and grace all her own, her unwavering strength, her enormous generosity and her distinctive quick wit.

Minnie loved her gardens, grown in honor of her late husband, Leo. She spent hours tending to the flowers watching the birds and butterflies. Minnie loved to bowl but her favorite sport was golf, playing on many leagues in the area. In recent years, she found camaraderie at Life Center Plus participating in their exercise programs and making so many new friends.
