Scott A. Graber, 18, of Hudson died Oct. 13, 2013.
He is survived by his parents, Jeff and Ginger (Nee Tuttle) Graber; brothers, Justin and Andrew; grandparents, Ruth Graber, Sally Sinclair, Sandy and Mary Tuttle; and great grandmother ,Mary Scott Comly.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Paul Graber.
Mr. Graber was the captain of the Hudson Interscholastic Equestrian Team, which he was a member for 7 years. He worked at the Hudson Equestrian Center for 3 years and loved the people he worked with along with the animals.
In addition, Mr. Graber was very involved in the Auto program through the Hudson City Schools; he loved the hard work at the shop.
Mr. Graber volunteered at Hudson's Safety Town program for 9 years, where he worked his way up to a Head Teacher. He was a role model to hundreds of 5 year olds along with hundreds of volunteers.
Mr. Graber's way of handling life was with a smile and a laugh. He will be missed by all.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to The Hudson Fire Department Association, 40 S. Oviatt St., Hudson, Ohio 44236, to be distributed by the family to Mr. Graber's passions.
Friends will be received Oct. 17 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Johnson-Romito Funeral Home, 19 E. Main St. (on the square) in Hudson. Services will be Oct. 18 at 11 a.m. at Hope Community Church, 3033 Middleton Road in Hudson. Cremation to follow with internment at Crown Hill Cemetery at a later date.
