Frank M. Francioli, 79, of Hudson died Sept. 22, 2013, at his home, surrounded by his family.
He was born in Cleveland in 1933 to the late Elisa (nee Aquafresca) and Frank Francioli. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife of 60 years, Ernestine (nee Ricchiuto), adoring daughters, Linda (David) Spencer, Susan, Michelle (James) Gleason, beloved grandsons, Bradley and Michael Spencer, Frank, Roy and Tommy Smith and dear brother Vincent (Evelyn) and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by sisters, Phyllis Vecchione and Mary Francioli.
To Mr. Francioli, his family was paramount. He was a man of many talents and generously shared them with family and friends. He was an accomplished businessman, artist, mentor and Pied Piper of grandsons. He retired after 42 years with Ferro Corporation as director of corporate purchasing and then built his own successful import business, which he operated until recently. He served as an active member and past president of the Cleveland Chemical Association.
Memorial Mass of Christian Burial was Sept. 27 at St. Mary Catholic Church.
