Conrad Woerner - Active in Job Search, with St. Mary

Conrad Woerner, 78, died Jan. 22, 2013, peacefully in the comfort and privacy of his own home. 

Mr. Woerner was born in Chicago and raised in Neenah, Wis., where he was an avid sailor and met his wife, Joan, in high school. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin in 1956 and worked his entire career in sales. He moved to Hudson in 1973 and spent 38 years there raising his family. He gave back to the community with his active involvement in Job Search for 25 years and was a longtime parishioner of St. Mary Church.  

He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He is survived by his wife, Joan; two sons, Jeff and Chris; and five grandchildren.  

A funeral service was Jan. 28 at St. Monica Catholic Church in Mercer Island, Wash., with a private burial.
