Visiting Nurse Service and Affiliates and Chapel Hill Towers are "Celebrating the Greatest Grandparents on Earth" at a free street fair on Thursday, September 9 from 4 p.m. " 7 p.m. in the parking area of Chapel Hill Towers at 1111 Independence Avenue in North Akron (near Chapel Hill Mall).

All are invited to get a jump start on celebrating National Grandparents Day (officially September 12)! Kid-friendly activities include performances by a magician, face painting, balloons, and decorating a picture frame for grandparents. Children can also get their photo taken with their grandparent(s). There will be pizza (donated by Guys Pizza Co. in Cuyahoga Falls), pretzels (donated by Shearer's Foods, Inc.), snow cones, cookies, prize drawings, live music and more! Tours of Chapel Hill Towers will be available for those who are interested.
