How does someone survive the diagnosis of breast cancer, through love and support of people they may not even know. Please join a celebration of awareness and community, 6 pm to 7 pm on Sunday, April 11, 2010. Patty Jackson will lead a Vinyasa Flow Yoga Basics class at Yoga Lounge, 89 First Street in Hudson , OH . This class is a special donation class offered by Yoga Lounge to benefit the Susan G. Komen Foundation 3-Day walk to fight breast cancer. Hudsonites and Yoga Lounge regulars Chris Coenen and Sue Brown are chairing this year's fundraiser in support of Sue Lynch and Team "Envision-A-Cure" as they walk 60 miles in three days, July 30, 31, & August 1st.
Space is limited to the first 50: please call Yoga Lounge at 330-653-3377 to register. Plan to arrive 15 minutes or more before the start of class; if you are not a member of Yoga Lounge you will need to complete a short waiver form before the class starts.
Wear comfortable clothing and bring a yoga mat, towel and water to class. If you don't have your own, mats are available for rental at Yoga Lounge for a $2 fee. This special benefit class is open to anyone, experienced with yoga or not. The Yoga Lounge website has additional information you may find helpful if you have not previously had the joy of practicing yoga.

Join us on April 11th by honoring your body while benefiting the well being of others.
Help fight breast cancer while enjoying the joy of yoga. Feel free to send this to any of your friends or family who might be interested. Thanks.

Make a difference, please.

The Susan G. Komen Cleveland 3-Day for the Cure starts on Friday morning, July 30th and ends with the Closing Ceremony on Sunday afternoon, August 1st. Walkers cover about 20 miles a day, traveling at their own pace. Hundreds of volunteer crew members support the walkers through the three-day journey providing meals, refreshments and snack stops, gear transport, hot showers, portable restrooms, safety on the streets and 24-hour medical services. The Komen 3-Day for the Cure is the greatest distance you can go in the fight against breast cancer.
