The Hudson Kiwanis fifth-grade girls travel basketball team was the runner-up in the Midwest Basketball League Championship Tournament, which concluded Jan. 31 at Kenston High School in Chagrin Falls.

Team members are Annie Kennedy, Ellen Hudock, Caleigh Tiley, Sara Keller, Adeline Wickerham, Alison Chilcott, Katie Chojnacki, Ari Bankovich, Elle Marquez, Julia Cole and Shelby Johnson. The coaches are Mark Prosser and Bob Chilcott.

Tournaments offered

The Girls Basketball Association plans to host more than 40 tournaments in the spring. All tournaments are open for girls in 9-and-younger through 17-and-younger divisions.
