Palin as President?
The Vice President's most important role is that of the President-In-Waiting. The VP must be able to take over for the President if the President dies, has a stroke, or otherwise becomes incapacitated. If Palin becomes president, she will be eaten-up and made a puppet by the experienced Washington sharks. Any argument from McCain's party that Palin is ready to President and Obama is not, demonstrates that either McCain is a fool, or that McCain is a puppet and his handlers are fools.

Senator McCain a fool ? Having retired to Arizona after living in Hudson for 30+ years, I have had ample oppotunity to observe our Senator John McCain in action, as it were. Yes indeed, in my experience he is a far more foolish puppet than this article of last year suggests.
For example, a short time ago he lamented that the Republican Party has been "digging itself a deep hole" by the way it has kept
Hispanics, especially Mexicans (legal or not), in Arizona and elsewhere at arms length (or worse), yet within a week, despite some grudging, but fairly favorable comments on her behalf regarding her strong record as a jurist, he promptly voted with the rest of the Republicans in the Senate AGAINST the confirmation of (Hispanic) Sonia Sotomayor for a seat on the
U. S. Supreme Court with the most lame excuse imaginable, thus digging the already deep Republican Party hole even deeper.
I would not bore you all with the rest of his hypocrisies, for they are numerous. I will let just this one suffice as an indication of how much a foolish, knee-jerk "conservative" he is, despite his disingenuous attempts to appear to be a "reasonable" centrist.
