Pawsibilities Humane Society of Greater Akron presents a three-hour "Save the Animals" Telethon that will be cablecast on HCTV Feb. 13 from 1 to 4 p.m. The Humane Society will have phone banks set up to receive calls from area residents who pledge during that time period.
The Hudson Community First Career Panel featuring business, law, finance and accounting careers will be shown this week. It was taped at the Western Reserve Chapel on Jan. 20.
The Hudson Garden Club presents "Visiting Hudson Gardens, Horticulture and Just a Few Hints from English Gardens" -- an annual program featuring the special plants and garden designs by Hudson's gifted gardeners.
The City Club of Cleveland presents Thomas Waltermire of Team NEO and Brad Whitehead of Fund for Our Economic Future. The title is "Economic Outlook for the Next Decade."
