Integrity Coin Services Inc., a full service coin dealer, will open a showroom in Hudson to better serve its growing clientele.
Dennis, Malinda and Mario Iacco will launch their new shop in the Cambridge Jewelers building at 76 Maple Drive May 9. A grand opening will be announced in the future.
The Iaccos turned a childhood coin collecting hobby into a professional career with 10 years on the professional coin show circuit.

Webkinz event
The first ever Webkinz Extravaganza will be April 27 at Nicky Nicole in First & Main. There will be prizes, game stations and a grand prize raffle.
Children also will be able to enter a design a Webkinz challenge, participate in a scavenger hunt and buy one Webkinz and get a surprise Webkinz free.

Realty office names leaders, new employee
Howard Hanna Real Estate Services, parent company of Howard Hanna Smythe Cramer, reports total volume of $23.76 million for its Hudson office for March 2008.
The office closed volume leader was Shelly Breeden. The office written volume leader was Debbie Keyser.
Stephen Kelly, formerly with Cutler, has joined Howard Hanna Real Estate Services in Hudson.
'Heart Health'
to be addressed
Dr. Emil Hayek will speak on "Heart Health" and the prevention of cardiovascular disease at the Hudson Area Chamber of Commerce meeting April 29 at 11:30 a.m. at The Country Club of Hudson, 2155 Middleton Road. The event is open to members and non-members; reservations are required.
Hayek will discuss risk factors and warning signs of heart disease, and what to do to ensure optimum heart health.
Hayek, founder of Western Reserve Heart Care in Hudson, is medical director of the Heart and Vascular Center at Akron General Medical Center. He is board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease, echocardiography, and nuclear cardiology.

Youth fitness
club offered
The Future Fitness Club is now offered at LifeCenter Plus, 5133 Darrow Road in Hudson. Funded by Kohl's Community Youth Fitness, by Akron Children's Hospital, this group weight management program is for children 8 to 13 years old.
The club meets Mondays and Wednesdays for eight weeks beginning May 5 from 6 to 7 p.m. Participants learn healthy eating and fitness habits as they participate in games and other non-competitive activities, including obstacle courses, relay races, circuit strength/flexibility training, swimming and more.
Kohl's Community Youth Fitness, by Akron Children's Hospital, is a regional initiative designed to make medically-based youth fitness programming more accessible and affordable to children and adolescents. The Future Fitness Club also is offered at the Cuyahoga Falls Natatorium, the Shaw Jewish Community Center and the YMCA in Green.

observes Pilates Day
LifeCenter Plus Health and Fitness Center, 5133 Darrow Road, will observe International Pilates Day by inviting the public to try both mat and reformer classes free of charge May 3 from 8 a.m. to noon. Several different varieties of Pilates demonstrations will be offered, with advance sign-up needed for reformer classes because of equipment limitations.

Exercise party
helps fight disease
LifeCenter Plus will host a Zumba Quest party featuring a class with instructor Cindy Etzel May 16 from 6 to 8 p.m and a social with refreshments afterward. Zumba is a Latin dance-inspired group exercise.
With this event, LifeCenter Plus joins International Health Racquet and Sportsclub Association health and fitness clubs staging fundraisers this year for Augie's Quest.
Augie's Quest is IHRSA's partnership with the Muscular Dystrophy Association, which is attempting to raise $18 million to fight ALS.
The LifeCenter Plus Augie's Quest Zumba Party will raise money from donations of participants. The minimum donation is $10; donors at $25 or above will receive a Zumba Quest
T-shirt.

Doctor visits Curves
Curves in Hudson, 180 W. Streetsboro St., will host an open house featuring Dr. Michelle Khoury discussing the benefits of exercise and the prevention of osteoporosis April 30 from 7 to 9 p.m.
Khoury is a 1999 graduate of the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine.
She practices with Primary Care Associates of Northeast Ohio in Kent with her second office in Laurel Lake Retirement Community.

Beer dinner
planned for April 30
The North End Wine and Beer Bar will host a beer dinner featuring the local Thirsty Dog Brewing Company, newly returned to the Cleveland area and based in Akron from 6 to 9 p.m. April 30. Tasting is by reservation only.
Featuring the cuisine of Chef Edward Conklin, each course will be paired with two of the many styles of beer brewed by Thirsty Dog.
