Hudson -- A 35-year-old Stow woman was arrested and charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated, having a blood alcohol content of 0.126, criminal damaging, and possession of drug paraphernalia -- a pipe made from tin-foil -- March 6 at Lake Forest Country Club.
According to a police spokesperson, officers answered a call reporting a car stuck on the golf course at 7:30 a.m. Officers found the Stow woman in the vehicle which was partially hanging over the side of a golf cart bridge.
Police said the groundskeeper said the vehicle was driven over a large area. He reported extensive damage to the course.
According to the report, the woman said she had been there since 6 a.m. She was not injured.
She was taken to the Hudson Police Department and later released on a personal recognizance bond. Her vehicle was towed.

March 6. Vehicle damages hydrant, telephone pole: A Stow Road resident reported a vehicle struck a fire hydrant and a telephone pole in front of his residence at 11:57 p.m.
According to the police report, the driver of the vehicle, apparently uninjured, got out of the vehicle and left the scene of the crash.
The 43-year-old Hudson man was found at home the next day by police. He was cited for failure to operate a vehicle with reasonable control and leaving the scene of an accident.
No estimate of damage to the hydrant and telephone pole was provided.

March 6. Car wrapped in plastic wrap, honey and whipped cream: A 17-year-old male said someone wrapped his car in plastic wrap, honey and whipped cream while it was parked in a Stow Road parking lot.
According to the police report, the damage occurred between 7:45 and 9:45 a.m.
Damage was estimated at $10.
Menacing
March 7. Patron threatens employees: An employee of a bar on Darrow Road called police after a patron became threatening after he was refused entry to the establishment at 1 a.m., because of his previous bad behavior.
No charges were filed against the 38-year-old Stow man.

March 6. Business getting harassing phone calls: The owner of a North Main Street business said the establishment is receiving harassing phone calls from an unknown caller.
An investigation is pending.
Theft
March 6. Residents report money missing: An employee of an assisted living facility said three residents complained of cash missing from their residences.
According to police, $521 was reported missing.

March 8. Purse stolen: A Hudson Park Drive resident said sometime during the night someone broke her vehicle window and took her purse from the car.
According to the report, the locked car was parked in her yard.
Loss was estimated at $235. No estimate of damages to the window was provided.

March 5. Neighbor reports trespassers: An Ambrosia Drive resident said he noticed a suspicious vehicle at his neighborhood association's private pool at 10:30 p.m.
According to the police report, officers stopped the vehicle as it was leaving the area. After the pool and pool building were secured, the car was permitted to leave. The two male occupants from Hudson were warned about criminal trespassing.

March 2. Mailboxes, portable toilets damaged: Two residents of Cheshire Road and one resident of Abbyshire Drive said their mailboxes were destroyed by a vehicle knocking them down. A Hudson construction firm said their portable toilet on Cheshire Road also was struck by a vehicle.
Damage was $55 for each of the mailboxes and $1,200 to the portable toilet.
An investigation is pending.
Operating a vehicle
while intoxicated
March 5. Man charged with OVI: A 65-year-old Hudson man was arrested and charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated and failing to observe lane markings on West Barlow Road.
According to the report, the man failed field sobriety tests and was taken to the Hudson Police Department. He was later released on a personal recognizance bond. His vehicle was towed.
Assault
March 3. Female stabbed with pen: Police responded to a 911 call about an altercation in the driveway of Elsworth Hill Elementary School on Stow Road.
According to a police spokesperson, officers discovered a 22-year-old Hudson woman who told police she was stabbed in the neck by her friend, a 21-year-old Streetsboro woman, after an altercation over clothes. Officers noted a small puncture wound in her neck. EMS was not called.
The Streetsboro woman was arrested and charged with assault and taken to the Hudson Police Department. She was later released on a personal recognizance bond.
Reckless operation
March 3. Teen flees from police: An 18-year-old Hudson male was charged with reckless operation of a motorcycle, failure to comply with a police order, speeding, and failure to observe a no passing zone on Route 91 and Terex Road at 1:05 p.m.
According to a police spokesperson, the motorcycle operator was traveling at a high rate of speed, in excess of 90 mph, when he failed to negotiate a turn, lost control of his motorcycle and drove off a snow embankment.
He was transported to a local hospital by EMS but reportedly sustained no injuries.
He was then taken to Summit County Jail.
