The Hudson-based Burton D. Morgan Foundation announced $660,000 in grants on Jan. 26. The largest grant of $150,000 over two years went to Purdue University for the Burton D. Morgan Interns program at Northeast Ohio start-ups in summer 2012 and summer 2013. Other grant recipients include: Akron SCORE – $20,000 Canton Regional SCORE - $5,000) Gilmour Academy - $5,000 Manufacturing Advocacy & Growth Network - $10,000 North Union Farmers Market - $5,000 Prepared 4 Life Lemonade Day 2012 - ($5,000 Hudson City Schools - $1,500 Hudson Community Foundation, Destination Hudson Visitor Center - $4,650 Newborns in Need Hudson chapter - $3,000 Comments
