The Hudson Schools and Hudson Schools Foundation have teamed up for "Sizzlin' Stadium" week through Jan. 31 to support the Hudson Memorial Stadium project. The foundation hopes to reach its goal of $5.5 million by Jan. 31.
Activities include a Legacy Raffle for a 16-by-16-inch paver, valued at $2,500.
The winner will be able to display a message, dedication or shared memory at the entrance to the stadium.
Buy tickets ($5 each, three for $10 and 10 for $20) at the Learned Owl Book Shop or Hershey's of Hudson. Or download an order form at www.hudson.edu and return forms to the Board of Education office or the high school and middle school main offices.
Tickets will be sold through Jan. 31, with the drawing on Feb. 1. The winner of the Legacy Raffle will be recognized on the scoreboard Opening Night at the new Hudson Memorial Stadium.
On Stadium Lunch Day Jan. 27, a promotional lunch will be served at schools. Parents are invited to donate $1 to the stadium through their children's lunch account by emailing StadiumLunch@hudson.edu. Cashiers will also accept $1 donations.
