Ruth L. Walker, 87, formerly of Hudson, died Aug. 25, 2010, in Macomb, Ill.
Mrs. Walker was born on Feb. 15, 1923, to Harry and Helen (Voth) Loesch.
She graduated from Cuyahoga Falls High School and attended Kent State University for two years before her marriage on June 11, 1949.
Mrs. Walker lived in the Cuyahoga Falls and Hudson area until moving to Macomb, Ill., in 2003. She will be remembered for her love of family and friends, sewing, knitting and quilting.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Albert Walker; son, Albert Walker II; grandson, Nicholas DiGrino; a brother and a sister.
She is survived by her daughter, Susan (Nick) DiGrino of Macomb, Ill.; three grandchildren, Sam (Mariah) DiGrino of Wilmette, Ill., Alexander (Kristin) DiGrino of Wood Dale, Ill., and Kate (Seth) Rhoads of Quincy, Ill.; great-granddaughter, Madeline; and two nephews and their families.
