The Blossom Women's Committee is joining forces with the Musical Arts Association to sponsor an exquisite evening at Blossom Music Center coinciding with the return of the Joffrey Ballet to the 2010 Blossom Festival.

The pre-concert dinner benefit, called Reflections, is scheduled for Sept. 4, beginning with cocktails at 6 followed by a buffet dinner at the Knight Grove.

The Joffrey Ballet and The Cleveland Orchestra will perform at 8:30. Following the performance, guests are invited to the Blossom Grille for a "Meet the Performers" dessert reception at 10.

Blossom Women's Committee State Chair Phyllis Knauf says the committee "is thrilled about the opportunity to work hand in hand with the Musical Arts Association to support ballet at Blossom."

The Joffrey performance will include a classic work, Pas de Deux from Le Corsaire, choreographed by Marius Petipa; a new work titled Pretty BALLET by James Kudelka; and Gerald Arpino's Reflections, danced to Tchaikovsky's Variations on a Rococo Theme. The Cleveland Orchestra will perform the ballet scores, conducted by Tito Munoz.

Tickets are $200 per person and include dinner, Lot A parking, preferred Area 1 seating, and the post-concert reception. Guests who already have their ballet tickets are charged $125 per person for Lot A parking, dinner, and the post-concert reception. For tickets and information, contact Emily Szy at 216-231-7524 or eszy@clevelandorchestra.com.

The Blossom Women's Committee promotes and supports Blossom Music Center and The Cleveland Orchestra.
