Hudson — Final state report card results have confirmed what preliminary results released earlier this week showed — the Hudson City School District is no longer designated “Excellent with Distinction.” The Ohio Department of Education released its official state report card data Aug. 27. Hudson met 26 out of 26 indicators on its report card, achieving state standards for test score results and graduation and attendance rates, to earn at least an “Excellent” rating for the 10th consecutive year. Data showed the district’s performance index, which measures achievement of individual students, was at 108.3. The district did not achieve the “Excellent with Distinction” rating because fourth- and fifth-grade test scores did not exceed state set “value added” standards, according to school officials.
