The Hudson Society of Artists will present the 31st annual Art on the Green arts and crafts show Aug. 29 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on the South Green at the corner of state routes 303 and 91. The show will be chaired by Cathy Welner, founder of the show, and Paul Adams. Show items are original works of art. Applicants' works were juried and selected as of May 1 on the basis of professional quality. Art on the Green is free and takes place rain or shine. Visitors at the show may meander the paths to view more than 150 booths of artists from Ohio, surrounding states and some as far away as Florida. Many artists new to the show will be represented with offerings including paintings in varied media, jewelry, pottery, wood carving, glass, weaving, enamel, sculpture, leather, photography and other items. All items are available for purchase. Musical entertainment will be provided. Seven food vendors, including booths sponsored by the Rotary Club of Hudson and the Masons, will provide refreshments for sale. Free parking is available throughout Hudson. For more information, call Welner at 330-659-0810. Comments
