Marcia V. Neff (nee Voth), 85, of Hudson died Aug. 23, 2010, at Laurel Lake Retirement Community.
She was active in the Newcomers Club, Establishment, Gourmet Club, the Hudson High School Music Association, The Hudson Players, Congregational Women's Association, and the Tower Dance Club, in addition to the Embroiderers' Guild of America and the Needlepoint Guild of Stan Hewitt. Born in Cleveland, she was a graduate of Glenville High School and Denison University.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald W. Neff. She is survived by her children, Marti (Steve) Neff Thompson and Timothy P. Neff; and grandchildren, Sgt. Robert and Erick Thompson and Catherine and Elizabeth Neff.
A memorial service will be Aug. 27 at 1 p.m. at the First Congregational Church of Hudson, 47 Aurora St. The family will receive friends after.
Memorial donations may be made to Crossroads Hospice, 3743 Boettler Oaks Drive Ste. E, Green, OH 44685, or Friends of Pets, PO Box 813, Akron, OH 44309. Arrangements are being handled by Johnson-Romito Funeral Home.
