The League of Women Voters of Hudson will be at all school open houses this fall to assist citizens in registering to vote in the General Election on Nov. 2. Early voting starts Sept. 28 and the deadline to register is Oct. 4. Residents who have moved need to fill out a change of address card to be able to vote as well. In addition, the LWV registrars will have absentee ballot applications. The LWV's mission is to encourage the informed and active participation of citizens in government and influence public policy through education and advocacy. For more information, visit www. Clam bake benefits The annual Boston Heights Fire Department clam bake and dance fundraiser will be Sept. 18. Dinner will be served from 6 to 8 p.m., and guests can dance until 11. The event includes a deejay, karaoke, raffles and a cash bar. Tickets, available in advance only, are $25 per person.
