Stow Players will host a Wine & Cheese Open House Sept. 19, from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. at the Heritage Barn, 5328 Young Road in Stow. All would-be actors, actresses, stitchers, lights or sound people, make-up artists, set builders, ticket-takers or anyone else who is interested in good, fun community theater are invited. As they begin their 58th continuous year of quality community theater, Stow Players is looking for new members to share in the fun, enjoy the camaraderie, and work together to put on plays that display the Stow Players history and spirit. There is room for everyone; young and old, men and women, experienced or new. The Sept. 19 open house will kick off the 2010-2011 production year. The Heritage Barn, at 5328 Young Rd., is at the back entrance to Silver Springs Park. Lots of current members, actors, directors, Board members and others will be there to discuss the onstage, offstage, and backstage workings of one of the area's oldest community theatres. Dress is casual, and "newbies" are welcome to come by themselves to join in the fun, but they are equally encouraged to bring a friend. RSVP's are encouraged, too, by calling Stow Players' president Anne Guffey at 330-388-7482. Visit the Stow Players website at www.stowplayers.net or e-mail them at info@stowplayers.net. Comments
