FASTFRAME, 89 First St. Suite 202 in Hudson, is inviting needlework crafters to show off their work in this September's first Needlework Show at Laurel Lake. All types of needlework will be accepted, including counted cross stitch, crewel, embroidery and canvas needlepoint. This free event is open to the public to submit their pieces that have been completed in the last two years.

The goal of the show is to share, discover and inspire.

"Needlework is a work of art where thread is used to paint a picture," said Amy Lothes, manager of FASTFRAME. "I feel that these pieces that took months or years to complete should be enjoyed by everyone."

Although this is not a competition, votes will be collected for "Best of Show."

FASTFRAME will accept completed and framed needlework the week of Aug. 23 during regular business hours. All pieces will be exhibited for the public to enjoy at Laurel Lake Retirement Community during the month of September.
