Hudson City Council approved a pair of job creation grants Wednesday.
One is a five-year, $57,792 job creation grant for Beauty Systems Group LLC, which plans to move to Hudson from Macedonia, bringing 40 full-time employees in its first year and adding two more in its second year. Council also approved a five-year, $72,781 job creation grant for Lexi-Comp Inc. on Terex Road. The grant would be contingent on Lexi-Comp hiring 30 new full-time and five part-time employees in the next two years, bringing its workforce total to about 170, including full- and part-time employees. Council on Wednesday also agreed to put two Charter issues on the November ballot. Read more in the Aug. 22 Hub-Times.
