Gordon H. Simon, 83, of Stow, died July 13, 2010. Born in Cleveland, he was a Stow resident for 15 years and a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. He had retired from CTG in 1989, was a member of Hudson Lodge No. 510 F & AM and had worked at MAPS Air Museum. He was preceded in death by his sister Virginia Malo. He is survived by his wife of 32 years Eileen; sons Scott (Janet) of Parma Heights, Mark (Leisha) of Marlboro, Mass., Lee (Fabi) of Raleigh, N.C.; stepdaughter Susan (Jonathan) Best of Novi, Mich.; grandchildren Jack, Tommy, Randi, Julie, Derek, Jon and David Simon and Kathryn Best; and sister Beverly (Jack) Phillips. Visitation was at Redmon Funeral Home. Dr. David Baker conducted service at First United Methodist Church of Cuyahoga Falls, 245 Portage Trail, Cuyahoga Falls 44221. A private burial was at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. Memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church of Cuyahoga Falls or Hudson Lodge No. 510 F & AM. Comments
